Chuck Kranstuber has been an active partner with Washington Township throughout his career in public service. He has served on the Dublin Board of Zoning Appeals, Dublin Planning and Zoning Commission and, for 12 years, as a member of Dublin City Council. He was elected by his peers on Council to serve six years as Dublin’s mayor.
In 2006 he began serving as a Washington Township Trustee. He cites the accreditation of the Fire Department as one of the highlights of his tenure. It is his goal and commitment to continue to maintain and provide topflight fire and EMS services with quick response times, professional service and vital emergency equipment.
Kranstuber is an attorney with his own law practice, the Law Offices of Charles W. Kranstuber LPA. He earned his bachelor’s degree from The Ohio State University and his juris doctorate from the University of San Diego.
He has been recognized as a grand marshal for the City of Dublin Independence Day Parade, is a founder of the Dublin Irish Festival and a former member of the board of directors for the Dublin Counseling Center. In 2006, he was appointed by Governor Bob Taft to the Workers’ Compensation Oversight Commission.
Kranstuber lives in Dublin with his wife Jill, and has seven children. He enjoys golfing and traveling.
